One person is dead and three were injured after a car rolled over and hit the pedestrians Friday afternoon on Aurora Avenue, officials said.
The crash happened in the 4000 block near 40th Street, just north of the Aurora Bridge around 1 p.m. All northbound lanes are currently blocked, reports KIRO 7.
The victims were walking on the sidewalk when the driver turned onto 39th Street, hitting power poles and the pedestrians, officials said. The driver then reportedly jumped out of the car and ran away. Police found her shortly after.
All three injured patients were taken to Harborview Medical Center, according to the Seattle Fire Department. The patients include a 35-year-old man in critical condition, a 25-year-old man in stable condition and a 63-year-old man in stable condition.
Officials have not yet determined if impairment was a factor. Police estimate the northbound lanes will be closed through the evening.

Crews are on scene at northbound aurora at the 4000 block for a vehicle rollover incident with multiple patients. All patients are extricated. Expect delays and drive safe.
