Seattle’s I-5 express lanes are closed, after a collision sent a semi truck trailer off the side of the freeway.
WSDOT expects lanes to remain closed “for an extended period” while crews work to recover the trailer. Also closed is the Mercer Street on-ramp to northbound I-5 and the southbound I-5 off-ramp to Mercer.
